The Kangra fort is a historic fort located in the Kangra district of the Himachal Pradesh state, India. This fort is also known as Nagarkot and Kot Kangra. This fort stands on a hillock between two rivers (Manjhi and Banganga), among the foothills of the Dhauladhar range. This fort is the largest in the Indian Himalayas. The Kangra Fort is located 20 kilometers from the town of Dharamsala on the outskirts of the town of Kangra, in the Kangra district. The entrance to the fort is through a small courtyard enclosed between two gates.

The Masroor Temples, also referred to as Masroor Temples or Rock-cut Temples at Masroor, is an early 8th-century complex of rock-cut Hindu temples in the Kangra Valley of Beas River in Himachal Pradesh.The temples were carved out of monolithic rock with a shikhara, and provided with a sacred pool of water as recommended by Hindu texts on temple architecture. The temple has three entrances on its northeast, southeast and northwest side. The temple complex was first reported in 1913 bringing it to the attention of archaeologists.

Kareri Lake is a shallow high elevation fresh water lake located on the southern spur of the Dhauladhar range approximately 9 km northwest of Dharamsala in Kangra district, Himachal Pradesh, India. Kareri Lake also serves as a base camp for the popular Seven Lake Trek of Dhauladhar. Although there are more than 22 high elevation lakes in the Dhauladhar Ranges, seven among these are popular among trekkers in this region. All of the lakes are considered sacred and attributed to Lord Shiva. The Seven Lake Trek is a 5-7 day moderate-to-difficult level.

Baijnath Temple is a Nagara style Hindu temple situated in a small town of Baijnath located in Kangra District, Himachal Pradesh, India, and was built in early 13th century (1204 CE) by two local merchants named Ahuka and Manyuka. It is dedicated to Shiva as Vaidyanath, ‘the Lord of physicians’. According to the inscriptions on the present day Baijnath temple structure, a temple of Shiva had existed before construction of present-day structure. The inner sanctum houses a Shiva lingam. carved in the walls and in niches on exterior.
